Best Staffing Firm to Work For 2012
In March of 2012 The Start Group was recognized again, this time as the Best Staffing Firm to Work For. Staffing Industry Analysts sponsored The Best Staffing Firm to Work For survey, which was conducted in conjunction with Quantum Workplace, an independent research firm specializing in employee engagement. Nominations were received from staffing firms and internal employees of nominated firms that were surveyed from November 2011 through early January 2012. There were 143 companies nominated and a total of 17,000 people that participated in the survey. Of these companies, 15 finalists were announced at the annual Executive Forum in Las Vegas. The Start Group won in the category of up to 50 employees. Here at The Start Group, it is understood that a successful company is a reflection of the people who comprise it.

Community
The Start Group has embraced the spirit of community involvement and we are proud of our commitment to give back to the society in which we work and live. Since inception, The Start Group has supported causes ranging from local student mentoring, to Alzheimer’s and cancer research fundraising. Not only does The Start Group, itself, strongly believe in supporting worthy causes such as these, but our employees have also taken it upon themselves to become fully involved in each organization we support. Often, our employees can be found supporting these causes by running road races or volunteering their time and services. In addition, we believe strongly in community involvement and work to create a community for our candidates and employees where best practices and creative ideas can be presented and explored.
Through our elective charity payroll deduction program, employees and consultants can choose to automatically deduct $3.00 from each payroll check they receive. In addition to making donations easy, The Start Group also matches these deductions. At the end of each fiscal year, participants receive a statement showing their charitable contributions.
